Event Overview

You've always wanted to be a writer, but somehow you've never found the time. Or maybe the thought of getting published is too complicated and intimidating. But fear not! This class will help lay a foundation for fulfilling your dream and demystifying the writer's life.

In this women's-only writer's workshop, you'll learn about how to get started as a writer, whether you want to write for profit, publication, or pleasure. From carving out time to write, establishing a writer's group, and the ins and outs of publication (from how to face those inevitable rejections, to celebrating when your work gets published) this workshop will give you the tools you need to get started. You'll also learn to identify your areas of expertise, expand your platform, and build your writer's resume.

You'll connect with other would-be writers in the intimacy of quiet coffee shop, while getting prepared to live the writer's life. Leave the class with a tool belt of resources to get you started on the path to publication!
