Event Overview

WordPress makes it incredibly easy to share everything from photos to your daily adventures with friends and family, and yes, even to create a business.

Starting your first WordPress blog is simple, however the work environment can be a bit overwhelming at first. Shorten your learning curve and come to a class where we will all get our WordPress blogs started together! Nothing beats learning with a group of like-minded people.

This unique presentation by Chimpsy co-Founder and pro photographer, Mark Cafiero will show you exactly what you need to do to:

Set up a basic WordPress Site
Browse through several of the latest and greatest themes (templates)
Installing your theme
Setting up preferences, Building Pages and Blog Posts

This course will be recorded and provided to all who attend so that you can refer to it over and over again for your convenience.

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST

Founder of Chimpsy Photo Learning (http://www.chimpsy.com), Mark is an entrepreneur, photographer and educator, featured in over 7 photography books, and a contributing writer for RangeFinder Magazine on blogging.

The biggest honors he has received include speaking at the world-famous Wedding and Portrait Photographers International convention and trade show in Las Vegas for 4 years in a row, and also having his images featured in several books on photography, including "Best of Wedding Photojournalism", by author Bill Hurter.

With a degree in Marketing and a lifelong passion for photography, Mark conceived of Chimpsy in hopes to encourage everyone to shoot with the energy and precision that we used to shoot with back in the days of film and enjoy this incredible age of modern photography. You can learn more about him at his blog, and his photography site.
