Event Overview

Demand for adding CNC technology to the small woodworking shop is exploding as the price of the machinery and software continues to drop to an affordable range. This class is designed to orient and answer all your questions in regard to how you too could enhance your own shop and create projects limited only by imagination.

If you are a woodworker or metalworker, engaged as a hobby, or aspiring to build a business, this class will help get you on the right track for making the best thought through decisions. Class will be limited to 6 attendees. We will run a 5 axis CNC and produce a toy carving that some fortunate parent or grandparent attendee will take home to a glowing child, as I get to do with my grandchildren regularly.

Class length will not limit your opportunity to have all questions answered.

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST

After a 38 year corporate career selling and managing sales teams in the fields of laboratory services and industrial instrumentation, there have been countless training sessions organized and led by myself. My style is open and entertaining. Sharing with others brings great joy and deepens my love for the craft.

My woodworking life began in high school back in Western PA. The first piece of equipment for my own shop was a contractors table saw purchased 20 years ago. Since then equipment acquisitions have caused a few confined space moments, until now-a-days it takes 1800 square feet of shop space to keep the projects fun and flowing. My focus has always been furniture, and my kids would tell you that the bedroom and dining sets are the center points to their homes.
