Event Overview
The Interior Design 101 workshop provides an overview of basic Interior Design terminology and concepts. The workshop is geared towards both home and small business owners with little to no previous interior design education or experience, who wish to learn more about interior design and how to apply design concepts to their own spaces and lifestyles.
The two-hour workshop includes both lecture and hands-on supporting activities covering topics such as Design elements and principles, concepts, color theory, and current design trends and styles. Participants will walk away with a deeper understanding of how to create and apply these concepts to their own personal lifestyles, businesses, and spaces, through the development of their own personalized physical or digital interior design boards.
The presenter will provide design materials for the participants to use during the workshop or optionally participants may bring or use their own computer laptop for a digital option during the activities.
