Event Overview

This “Design Your Space!” workshop introduces participants to the initial steps within the interior design project process necessary to create successful small-scale residential or business spaces. The workshop is geared towards both home and small business owners with little to no previous interior design education or experience.

The two-hour workshop includes both lecture and hands-on supporting activities covering topics such as: The Interior Design process, project budget and goal-setting, space and furniture planning, design style and furniture selection, as well as pros and cons to working with designers and DIY for design projects. Participants will walk away with an introductory understanding on how to develop initial interior design solutions for their own chosen interior design space(s), through the development of their own personalized physical or digital interior design sketches and idea boards.
