Event Overview

Please Note: We have changed the time of the class from 4-6pm to 3-5pm.

Zucchini season has landed! Instead of dropping off your excess on a neighbor’s porch and dashing away hoping to not get caught, come take this class. Grab your bumper crop and give zucchini such a facelift that you will become a hoard to the summer gourd.

The class will start with a sampling of zucchini dishes and recipes, including *gasp* a beverage featuring summer squash. Various recipes will be taught during the class, including a sweet finish. Recipes will be provided, along with endless gardening inspiration that will inspire you to grow or acquire even more zucchini.

Bring your questions about gardening, harvesting, storing and enjoying summer squash!

A hungry belly and zucchini from your garden to show off and distribute (optional). There will be virgin cocktails offered during the class and you are welcome to bring a mixer or other alcoholic beverage to enjoy.

There was a lot to like about this class. I appreciated being inspired to cook a broader variety of items with my zucchini. I learned new cooking techniques (I'll never peel or dice an onion the same way). The recipe sheets were super helpful. The space was wonderful, with great music and products. My questions were all answered. I highly recommend the class, teachers, and space to future participants.
