Event Overview

Ready to discover how pilates can improve your posture? strength? flexibility? Or maybe you want to try a new mind-body workout and get energized this chilly winter!

Grab your mat (or a towel) and get ready to move in this fun, non-intimidating pilates class. You'll be led through a mat workout with details on posture and alignment along the way, so you can get the most results with good form and feel confident in your own workout!

In addition to the basic movements, you'll walk away with knowledge of breathing techniques, postural awareness, and probably feeling a few muscles you've never felt before.

What to Bring

Wear comfy clothes. Bring an exercise mat or a towel, and a bottle of water to hydrate those muscles you'll be toning and stretching!

Minimum age

All ages welcome

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST

I like to move. A pilates instructor and dancer, I am ever-fascinated with the human form and how it works. When I teach pilates I focus on precise alignment and form, and I endeavor to help students gain more body awareness and overcome imbalances. I enjoy helping individuals discover that a focus on functional fitness and wellness can positively affect their quality of life, in everything from small daily activities to challenging athletic performances.

I'm not good at Pilates. But this class left me feeling energized and with a sense of accomplishment.
Mandy's class had a great flow and pace to it. Some of the exercises were challenging to me, but she was great at making sure I was staying in line and doing them correctly.
She's super nice, friendly, and really knows her stuff.
My only question is: Where is she teaching next?!

I had a five-star experience at Intro to Pilates. I loved the personality of the teacher, and I felt that she really had an interest in helping me learn about Pilates. I felt like I got a great workout and that I renewed my interest in Pilates!
