Event Overview
Experience the mighty Chicago River at its calmest and most beautiful time! After the sun sets, the inner lights of the buildings spill into the streets and reflect off of the river, performing a glittering display.
Paddle with us at night through downtown Chicago, illuminated by street lamps and propelled by human muscle. The river is generally calmer and less trafficked after dark. Kayaking at night is one of the most pleasant ways to paddle!
Returning around 10 – 10:15 pm, there is still time to head over to the bar – the night is still young!
What to Bring
Bring water-friendly clothing and shoes. Blue jeans not recommended. Bring electronics at your own risk.

All ages welcome
Prerequisites
No prior experience needed! Come ready to learn and practice! Weight limit for a single kayak is 275 lbs (approx.) and 450 lbs (approx.) for a double kayak.
What's Provided
Price per person includes single or double kayak, life vest, paddle, guide(s), paddling lesson, dry bags, sunscreen
Custom Cancellation Policy
48-hour cancellation policy for a refund and a 24-hour policy for rescheduling. All tours are subject to postponement or cancellation due to weather or low registration. We offer complimentary rescheduling or a refund if your tour is canceled by us.

The guides did a great job keeping us aware of being safe on the river, and providing informed commentary.

So I decided to push my girlfriend's comfort level and do something different to celebrate our 1 year anniversary and being out on the river at night in a tandom kayak will absolutely go down as a top 2 date! One of our guides Ashley was so informative, helpful, and nonjudgemental. Just an overall pleasant person to be around. The whole crew has mastered the art of being present and available yet become invisible when appropriate. We both felt completely safe on the water and have already invited both her parents and mine to come enjoy this amazing adventure together mid August. Sorry this was long winded, we just had so so much positive feedback to share with our Dabble world. TRULY THANKYOU for making this adventurous boy friend look really really good!!! I am looking forward to spending time with y'all next month.

what a magnificent time out on the river. all of the people working there were very friendly and fun- and knowledgeable. we received a solid orientation and reviewed safety before we headed out. the views of the skyline from a kayak are breathtaking
