AI at Work: Build a Smarter Workflow in One Session
AI can be genuinely useful, but only when you know how to use it for real work, not just ask it random questions.
In this hands-on class, you’ll bring one task you regularly do, writing, planning, research, organizing information, job searching, customer communication, or something else—and learn how to turn it into a practical AI-assisted workflow.
We’ll cover how to give AI useful context, get better results, spot when an answer needs human judgment, and protect sensitive information. You’ll leave with a workflow you can reuse right away, whether you use ChatGPT, Claude, or another AI tool.
No technical background required. Bring a laptop and a real task you’d like to make easier.

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST
Elyse Dequina is an enterprise technology and AI transformation leader who has spent her career helping people make technology actually useful—not just impressive in a demo. With a background spanning software development, Salesforce, enterprise architecture, and AI enablement, she has led large-scale programs that connect new tools to the real work people do every day.
She brings a practical, judgment-first approach to AI: start with the task, understand what good looks like, and use AI to make work easier without handing over your thinking. Elyse is based in Chicago and believes the best way to learn AI is to use it on something real.
