Carolyn Hasenfratz Winkelmann
Carolyn was born in St. Louis, Missouri and currently lives in Affton, Missouri. Besides art and crafts, she enjoys gardening, outdoor activities, nature, writing, road trips and unusual animals.
Carolyn currently teaches crafts at Schnarr's Hardware, JoAnn Fabrics and Crafts and Perennial. As a member of the 2018 Canvas Corp Creative Crew, she is involved in writing project tutorials and making sample craft projects. She has been published in craft magazines and on craft product web sites and has published many tutorials and craft patterns for her own web sites.

Linda S.Reviewed on 02/07/20I thoroughly enjoyed my evening with Carolyn. She was knowledgeable, thorough, and entertaining. I came home with a really cute necklace that I am wearing tonight. Her next class, which will be through Dabble, is a bird house. I plan on signing up to take that with her if the dates work out. I will stay abreast of what she teaches because I would like to continue attending her classes.

Wonderful experience! Carolyn is a great teacher. Demonstrated each step clearly and gave each of us personalized attention. Learned a new skill and had fun in the process. Could add our own touch, dabble (pardon the pun!) and be creative. Appreciated the handout!

Loved both the class (Jewelry Basics) and the teacher! We made a bracelet and a necklace, and I felt that I learned at a lot of great techniques. I also LOVE my new jewelry. The teacher was also very friendly and helpful. I definitely plan on taking more classes with her in the future.

I enjoyed this class very much. I was searching for a personal and hands on way to help pollinators. This class accomplished this for me. The lesson plan was well written out and easy to follow. The instructor Carolyn was very knowledgeable about the project. There is a lot of creativity built into this project. There are many colors to choose from as well as many stencil choices. The atmosphere was warm, friendly, and creative. I would recommend this class to others.
