Event Overview

Read up. Brush up, and prepare yourself. The Dizzy Spell, officially (maybe) one of STL’s longest-running traditions, is back - bigger and better - and ready for round 2.

Contestants will be challenged both mentally and physically in a competition that will be sure to reach epic proportions. Many will enter, but only one will be crowned champion - minus the crown. So come out. Spell. Drink. Engage.

Here's what you need to know:

*Come to spell Or just come for the laughs.

*RSVP gets you a free beer + official Dizzy Spell button.

*$50 cash prize for 1st place

*Melt gift cards for 2nd, and 3rd place will be up for grabs + other sweet prizes that are so sweet they have not even been determined yet.

*If you want to compete email zach@dabble.co with the subject line "Dizzy Spell."

*CASH FOR THE CAUSE: For every RSVP Dabble will donate $2 to Stray Rescue of St. Louis.

I had a great time. Not sure if drinking while spelling helped me or not, but I did alright.

This was a really fun and different event to go to! I didn't participate, but had a friend who did, and it was fun to go and cheer her on.

What a unique event. It was well organized and fun to be a part of. It seemed there was a great turn out since we had to take 2 of the last seats in the back. It was noisy because of the games other patrons were playing and the poor acoustics inside Melt. Hopefully the next spelling bee has more seats for us and is easier to hear! Can't wait for more!
