Event Overview

A lot of work goes into welcoming a baby. Baby shower, birth classes, car seat installation, lots of shopping...But what happens after the birth?

The transition into parenthood (even if it's not your first time with a new baby) can be challenging for many parents. But at the time when they need it most, they have trouble finding resources to truly help them. This group will focus on how to stay connected with your partner, your baby, and yourself as you go through the first year of welcoming a new little one into your life.

Music is a powerful tool for connecting with your emotions. Listening to music, discussing lyrics, and creating your own music (as in individual or as a group) creates an outlet that is safe and supportive.
Music therapy creates an opportunity for connecting with yourself and with others who are going through similar transition.

Join us each week to learn coping skills, explore your relationship with your partner and yourself, and to meet new friends.
