MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST

I'm an artist with a background in set and lighting design. After graduating from The Theatre School at DePaul University, I worked in Chicago as a scenic artist for several years. I relocated to Springfield, MO, where I worked as the scenic artist at Missouri State University and enjoyed a slower paced life which allowed me to concentrate on my own work. Over the years in Springfield, I had many gallery exhibitions, helped organize a small theater company, and was the director of the Springfield Program for Public Art. I moved back to St. Louis in 2010 and concentrated on printmaking and freelance illustration and design. I am thrilled to be operating out of the Novel Neighbor, and have returned my focus to my own work and finding ways to share my love of making things.
