Event Overview
Ever wonder how those photo-realistic paintings are accomplished? Join us for a primer on the use of an airbrush. Students will see a step by step demonstration on how the airbrush works, the equipment required and the effects that can be achieved.
This demonstration class will include a short Powerpoint showing what the airbrush has historically accomplished, it’s anatomy and practical applications. In addition, students will see a master airbrush artist at work showing some of the tricks of the trade.
There is no previous art training required.

John Salozzo had been a commercial airbrush artist in Boston, MA for over 20 years. His work has been seen in many national magazines, corporate brochures, and album covers. He was awarded a platinum album for his work on the rock band "Boston" album cover, 3rd Stage. He is now a photo-realist fine art painter living in St. Louis.
