JOIN US for a Day of working with Clay and a yummy LUNCH! Coffee, Tea, & Water included!
"Alas for those who cannot sing but die with all their music inside them."
“Art, Madness, and Transformation” is a hands-on clay sculpting workshop that utilizes a variety of clay exercises designed to promote personal growth and change through deepening self-awareness.”
YOU WILL:
· Create by hand a series of small 3-Dimensional sculptures in clay.
· Learn how to use the “language” of symbolic expression.
· Access material buried in the Unconscious in order to integrate and transform it.
· Discover the experience of the process of art as a healing force.

CO-PRESENTERS -- Coby Lyons & Tom Wolver
Coby is a ceramic sculptor and a doctoral student of Integral and Transpersonal Psychology at California Institute of Integral Studies. His experience in participating and in conducting clay-based workshops inspires his research in the healing potential of the creative expressive arts. Formerly of the Bay Area, he calls Las Vegas, NV home.
Tom has lived and maintained a studio in the Santa Cruz mountains for the past 40 years where he continues to explore the dark passageways that flow through and connect mind, heart, and soul.

What's Provided
All the necessary tools and materials for working in clay will be provided. Participants will only need to bring themselves. LUNCH included, and Coffee, Tea, and Water will be offered.

Coby Lyons is a ceramic sculptor and a doctoral student of Integral and Transpersonal Psychology at California Institute of Integral Studies. His experience in participating and conducting clay-based workshops inspires his research in the healing potential of the creative expressive arts. He calls Las Vegas, NV home where he engages in his art practice, writes, meditates, and (most importantly) raising his daughter.
Co-Facilitator, Tom Wolver has lived and maintained a studio in the Santa Cruz mountains for the past 40 years where he continues to explore the dark passageways that flow through and connect mind, heart, and soul. Saturdays, he hosts open studios guiding other ceramic artists & students in mining the gold in the shadows.
