Event Overview
Learn to make pottery on the potter's wheel! Experience includes clay, tools, and equipment to create your very own wheel thrown pottery piece. The experience will start out with some historical information on the space, a demo of throwing basics from start to finish, and then the guest will get on the wheel and get started! Most guests can expect to make 3-5 pieces. The pieces take 3 weeks to finish and fire. Once finished the guest can return and pickup or request shipping which is covered by the guest.

Marieke von Johnson earned her degree in Ceramics from San Francisco State University. After school, she worked in various professional ceramic artist positions. She now works at her studio and gallery teaching classes and displaying local art.
