Event Overview

Join us in a special Basics of Hand Lettering workshop at Impact Hub in Downtown Salt Lake City! This is the only class we are offering in Salt Lake City and spots are limited!

In this two hour workshop, you'll learn the basics of hand lettering. We will teach you the basic terms of lettering, set up guidelines, craft and pair different styles, create compositions, and give you the tools you need to design some awesome finished pieces! You'll walk away with the skills to add your hand lettered touch to cards, chalkboards, or whatever you heart desires!

This class is for beginners but all skill levels are welcome! Students should be comfortable using a pen or pencil, but no previous lettering experience is necessary. All materials are included in ticket price. Students will be given a workbook created by Roxy and Phoebe, a fine point ink pen, mechanical pencil, eraser, sharpie, sketchbook, and a San Diego Letters sticker. All you need to bring is yourself and a willingness to learn!
