This introduction to public speaking helps take the fear out of making a presentation. Whether in front of a small group of colleagues or a much larger crowd, Communications Specialist Jeff Whitaker guides you through the fundamentals of talking in front of a group. From developing your talk and material to delivering your presentation; getting over the jitters to feeling comfortable, Jeff walks you through the process.
This class is the perfect first step to improving your communication skills and advancing your career and influence.
What to Bring
Students need to bring something to take notes, one small object that represents who they are (a calculator if they are an accountant, a spatula if they are a baker, etc) and a willingness to learn.
Minimum age

Jeff Whitaker is by profession, a storyteller. For 30 + years he has worked in communications, media and journalism. As a Communications Specialist Jeff's accomplishments include college Public Speaking Professor to Television News Director, Anchor and Radio Talk Show Host.
He also speaks, facilitates workshops and seminars as well as consults individuals and businesses on finding their voice and improving personal and corporate communication along with media relation skills.
