Event Overview
Want to get your bristles wet and dive into the fantastic world of watercolors? Join me and we'll explore this beautiful medium together. Enjoy this time of experimentation while learning the fundamentals of a bright and wonderful art medium. We'll learn how to work with a limited palette as well as how to create a variety of brush strokes and textures.
You'll leave with your new painting, your experiments. You'll also be taking the palette you use home, so you can continue your exploration of watercolors. At the end of this session you'll have learned how to utilize your paints, the water, and basic color mixing theory.

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST
I am an artist with my teaching certification in Art (k-12). I practice in a variety of media including ceramics, screenprinting, painting (oils, acrylics, and watercolors), metal sculpture, ink-work, graphite, glassworking/glassblowing, and mixed-media.
I have pursued art my whole life, and graduated college with my Bachelor's of Arts. I've been trained as a teacher of the arts. I have experience in the theater as both an actor and stage manager, and training in the stage design and creation process.
I have the energy and motivation necessary to create an enriching and enjoyable learning environment.
