Event Overview

What would be more special and unique this holiday season than creating your own gift wrap?! Join us for an afternoon of block printing, delicious pastries and hot coffee at Foundry Provisions! I will demonstrate and guide you through the process of carving to create your own stamp. Then we will use our holiday-themed stamps, along with ink in a variety of colors, to print our own wrapping paper. The beauty is in the details, so of course we will learn to make yarn poms and tassels to embellish your design :)

You don't need any prior skills, or even to have purchased your gifts yet! This workshop will provide you with the perfect set of skills to impress your friends and family with your mad wrapping skills.

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST

My name is Karisa Cole and I'm a long time teacher and crafter. In addition to a career in elementary education, I've enjoyed being a students in carious classes and workshops learning how to draw, paint, crochet, knit, weave, mold clay and create block prints.

For the past few years I've enhanced my skills by creating gifts for friends and family. I always enjoy receiving thank you's and seeing pictures of items I've given them, showing me where they've hung woven wall hangings and what they've planted in little pots. Selling my handmade goods and hosting workshops has become a fun way to share my love of teaching and crafting with others, and make great new friends in the crafting community.
