Event Overview

How does one explain this class? FUN!!  Ok besides that, it's very hard to explain what you'll be doing in class so I'll try...

We'll show you tons of cool examples and tips and techniques to make some very cool art with Alcohol Inks. I've been playing around a ton with these and they are so much fun! We'll be doing multiple tiles of different sizes and styles so you can create some awesome Ink Art. This class will be the intro for you guys to learn a little and play, but we'll be offering more intermediate style technique classes later. This class is totally non-glass related so it's different and unique for us and for you, our loyal students! We'll also have lots of other things like triptych frames, single tile frames, boxes, etc. that you can purchase at a discount for displaying your tiles in a different, beautiful way.

WHAT TO BRING: If you have any fun rubber stamps you'd like to bring to test out, or some heavy (thick, not paper thin) stickers, please feel free to bring them to play around with. This class can get a bit messy on the hands at least, we'll have gloves and a few aprons but it's a good idea to not wear your Sunday best clothing.

Michelle has been a fused glass artist for over 15 years and helped her mom start their fused and stained glass business in 1999. She specializes in all things fusing and enjoys playing with glass and coming up with fun new techniques to teach. There's nothing like the qualities that glass can provide as an art medium and she enjoys teaching her students how to be creative and have fun while working with such an amazing medium. Her students rave about how fun the atmosphere is and how much they want to bring friends back and play.
