Learn to make your own custom tea towels in this one-day printmaking workshop. Students will learn to design and carve their block, mix ink to create custom colors, and creative ways to print and repeat their designs.

 

Look to artists like Leah Duncan and Lotta Jansdotter for inspiration, and keep in mind that simple, graphic, floral, or abstract designs lend themselves best to a beginning printmaking project. Students are encouraged to have a simple design in mind before class so they can focus on carving and inking!
