Event Overview

iFish Japanese Grill & Sushi Bar is hosting a sushi making class for people with some-to-no experience. Join Executive Chef Luis De La Cruz to learn what makes a good piece of sushi, how to create it, and the latest trends in the contemporary sushi making world.

Located in the ballpark district, iFish has a quaint yet fun atmosphere about it. The energy is incomparable to any other sushi location, something that really shines through in the artwork they serve, SUSHI.

The course will also cover sake suggestions (*not included in ticket price).

We look forward to sharing the experience with you and your family/friends.

Luis was a great teacher. He first walked through how to select ingredients and make the rice. Then walked step-by-step through the process of making different rolls. Then it was our turn to make sushi! He worked one-on-one with us as we made the roll of our choice, then ate our own creations. I had a glass (or two) of sake and met some great people - would definitely recommend this class to anyone looking for a fun evening or great date night!

So much fun! Chef Carlos was very patient with us newbies and very thorough on his explanation of how to make sushi and where to buy the ingredients. He recommended some great drinks for us and generously gave us a couple different sakes to taste. The other Dabblers were fun. I'd love to take this class again!
