Event Overview

If you have ever wanted to learn the skills necessary to preserve and store food in your home, this is the class for you.  Paul and Chelsie Fleischer have owned and operated a 2 acre fruit and vegetable farm in Lakewood, Colorado for several years, and each year they preserve as much fresh product as possible, to get them through the long cold winter months.

This class is taught by Chelsie, who has been canning the farm's bounty for years.  The class will teach you the basics of canning and freezing products through a hands on canning lesson in the farm's kitchen. You'll learn about the equipment needed and all participants will walk away with a notecatcher and several great recipes.
