Event Overview

Join a local cocktail expert for a mezcal tasting and happy hour. We'll convene for some basic agave education with a flight of spirits for everyone to enjoy. Your instructor will go through the production and history of mezcal, and then we go through the first flight together.

Your experience will end with a happy hour where your host mixologist will make any of the three mezcal/tequila recipes we learned.

In these highly interactive sessions, you will learn how to think about and prepare classic and modern cocktails while you taste history in a glass. Utilize a blend of core bartending tools, multitasking skills, creativity - and apply elements of science.

We will focus on mezcal and learn about the history of the spirit, how it's made - learning about aromas/flavor profiles, classic and modern cocktail making, techniques, infusions, and of course tasting the finished product!
