Event Overview

You've never seen a picture frame like this! In this class you will be learning how to make your own frame by using fiber paper. We won't be gluing glass pieces to wood frames like you've seen in other places - this is a really unique way to create a frame.

You will receive a large 8"x8" base that you will decorate with glass and then you will have your choice of one 3"x5" frame or two 2"x3" frames to place on your piece.

Uses: Hang in your home or in your office. These also make wonderful gifts!

Age Limits: Please only bring your children if they are 16 or over and are participating in the class.

Experience: None needed! This is a great intro to glass! We start the class with a 10-15 minute introduction to glass and glass cutting and I will be here the entire time helping out with your piece.

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST

I have been deeply involved with glass for several years mostly working out my home with a home studio and a kiln in my garage. I’ve been plotting my escape from Corporate America for some time, and as of May 2, 2014, I have become the proud owner of Glassateria – a beautiful fused glass studio located in the Santa Fe Art District.

I am trying to modernize glass fusing by creating unique projects and using colors and techniques that are fresh and exciting.
