Event Overview

Come to class with a small piece of wood furniture that you can easily and comfortably carry! (Think small step stool or small side table and wood not laminate works best.) We will cover the methods needed to transform your piece step by step. You will be educated on products from the Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint line, how to properly mix milk paint, and the process of painting with milk paint.  Review our sample finishes to decide which style will best help you achieve your look.  You will feel empowered being walked through the complete process of finishing your piece!

You will learn how to properly prep furniture to paint, apply colors of your choice, distress and apply the furniture waxes or topcoats to finish your piece.

The instructor gave each person individual attention to each student. Everyone's project looked professional. It was a wonderful way to learn a new skill.

Great instructor: calm, instructive and open to anyone's creative ideas. Very encouraging. The Milk Paint process is quick, forgiving and adaptable to many techniques and experimentation. I had a great time and was pleasantly surprised how much I liked my final piece!
