Love having fresh flowers in your home? Never quite sure how to treat, trim and arrange the flowers you buy at your local grocer? Floral Arranging 101 is a quick and fun way to learn how to make simple store-bought flowers last longer and look straight-from-a-florist lovely!
For the person who loves grabbing a bouquet on the way to the check-out line, this class will break down what to do with the flowers once you're home: How to treat the water, the ideal stem location for cutting, and ultimately how to piece an arrangement together. We'll discuss some common flower types and which flowers are best in which season. Then for the grand finale, you'll create an arrangement to take home with you at the end of the class!
You'll leave class feeling more confident in your store-selection abilities and, ultimately, your flower arranging skills. Have more personalized arrangements at home and confidently give friends arrangements you created just for them.

Brady is a fan of all things lovely - flowers being her favorite (although picking a favorite one of those is far too hard). She watched her mom arrange roses and hydrangeas from their garden growing up, and now strives to always have a fresh arrangement somewhere in her home. Her experience as a wedding floral designer has opened her eyes to even more flower types, arrangement styles and the happiness a simple arrangement can bring any occasion or person.
