Event Overview

Whether you’re considering the consulting route or looking to “up your game,” we will teach you the basics on not only how to build a successful consulting company, but how to stay driven and fulfilled. You'll hear real success stories and lessons learned while participating in some interactive exercises in this co-taught class.

You will walk away with skills in the following areas:

1. Defining and branding your work: Learn the importance of defining and communicating your areas of expertise and simple branding tips that will go a long way.

2. Contracts, rates and the art of bartering: Learn how to define your working relationships, scope of work and a rate that you deserve, while learning when to “trade” and when to move on.

3. Building your network: Learn how to get out of your comfort zone, recognize hidden opportunities and utilize the power of referrals.

This class is co-taught by Brit Stueven and Dafna Michaelson.

Dafna Michaelson is the president and founder of the Journey Institute.
