Event Overview

Want to quilt but have never attempted? Let's get your feet wet with a fun table runner! In this class I will teach you the basics of quilting on a smaller scale. You will learn the following:

// Simple block/row assembly,
// Techniques to attach your batting,
// Basic quilting and finally,
// Completion of the table runner.

This is a great way to see if you like quilting without investing in a lot of money in fabric and materials. You will also learn the basics so that if you do fall in love (like most of us) you can feel confident in your first large scale project.

What do you say? Go ahead and join me in creating a quick and easy table runner that you can be proud of!

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST

Crystal's grandma taught her to quilt at the age of seven and she hasn't quit since. In the years that have followed she has learned to sew, quilt, cook; pretty much if it is crafty or creative she has had her hand in it at some point. Crystal has also been involved with corporate training and feels very comfortable teaching others and passing along what she has learned. She can work with any learning style and is very patient with beginners. Crystal really enjoys the feeling when students achieve that ah-ha moment and the 'light bulb' goes off so to speak. Crystal is currently the owner and author of NotMyGrandmasQuilts.com a blog dedicated to step-by-step instructions for beginner quilters.
