Event Overview

Join me as we learn calligraphy together! We will learn how to put the calligraphy pen together and prepare it for writing. Then we'll practice some basic strokes. As we continue, you'll be surprised how quickly those strokes turn into letters and words! As we finish up, we'll do a small project so you have something to take home to show off your hard work. 

If you don't know Sam already, you can check out her work and pictures from her previous classes at her instagram: instagram.com/samanthameyerstudio. She teaches classes each month in venues around Chicago, but she's doing this special one due to popular demand during her visit to NC! 

 

Included in the price of your ticket is: 

-Pen, nib, and a bottle of ink to take home

-Practice sheets to use during class and take home to keep practicing

-Supplies for a small project

-Snacks and beverages to munch on - feel free to bring more to share if you'd like!

 

 

*note: Left-handers can definitely try calligraphy, but it can sometimes be more challenging. Let me know if you have any questions!
