Event Overview

Enjoy a private glassblowing lesson for your group or special event, led by expert instructors. Each participant learns the basics of glassblowing to shape their own glass vessel to take home.


Request a date and time for your private experience from the "Explore" button. We target a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 50 for groups with pricing at $80 per person. If you are interested in a smaller group, we'll be in touch to confirm pricing and availability. (Availability is typically limited to weekday evenings.)


Prior to the event, your group will settle on one pair of items to choose from, from two sets of choices: Flower Vase/Ruffled Bowl -OR- Beer Glass/Stemless Wine Glass.


Please Note
Glass will cool slowly in annealer. Must be picked up, or shipped for a fee at a later date.

What to Bring

You may bring your own food and drinks if you like, or opt to use a caterer. There is a kitchenette on premises. If there is alcohol, you must wait until after completing your project before imbibing.

Prerequisites

Must wear closed-toe shoes and cotton (non-synthetic) clothing.
Must be 12 years or older.

Our mission is to create unsurpassed glass art and share the joy of glassblowing with the public. Slow Burn Glass Studio LLC was originally founded in 2006 by glass artist and instructor, Bryan Goldenberg in Oakland, California. In July of 2018, Slow Burn expanded into a larger studio in Richmond, California, where artists, students, and special events have access to a 5000-square-foot facility with an 800 lb. furnace.
