I Can't: LinkedIn

Business & Technology
This workshop is ideal for those interested in LinkedIn for growing their business as opposed to a job search.
I Can’t: LinkedIn is part of Mac & Cheese Productions’ I Can’t series, where adults state they’re unable to do something, they try it with a bunch of other adults who also “can’t,” and everyone proves themselves wrong and not only does the thing, but enjoys it and says, “That wasn’t so bad. In fact, kinda fun. Good for me! What’s next?!” Past I Can’ts have included yoga, improv, drawing, bake, have a dog, financial planning, and buy a home. For this edition, Mac & Cheese is partnering with Meg McKeen of Adjunct Advisors.

Do you want to be more present on LinkedIn but aren’t sure where to start?
Does the idea of “selling” using social media make you feel gross?
Have you heard that LinkedIn is only for job-seekers (spoiler alert: it’s not)?
With more than 500 million users and less than 1% sharing content with regularity, there’s so much opportunity to share your message and increase your visibility on LinkedIn.
A believer that there’s a story within every story, Meg McKeen's career journey took a sharp left turn in 2017 when she exchanged a corporate j-o-b for a year of self-discovery. It was a pivotal decision that led to the launch of her consulting firm, Adjunct Advisors LLC, in 2018, through which she offers thoughtfully curated solutions for the development of sales professionals. Meg shares more about her personal journey in the thought-provoking workshops she facilitates for entrepreneurs, on topics such as Leveraging LinkedIn and Our Relationship With Risk. A resident of Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood, when she’s not helping business professionals, you can find Meg putting the “practice” into yoga practice, searching for the best vegan burger, or enjoying live music and the wonder that is Chicago’s lakefront. While her journey is not unique, her ability to make sales and insurance approachable and relatable, with humility, humor, and heart, is a gift.
