I Can't: Bake - Bread Edition

Food & Drink
I Can’t: Bake is part of Mac & Cheese Productions' I Can't series, where adults state they're unable to do something, they try it with a bunch of other adults who also "can't," and everyone proves themselves wrong and not only does the thing, but enjoys it and says, "That wasn't so bad. In fact, kinda fun. Good for me! What's next?!" Past I Can'ts have included yoga, improv, find love, draw, have a dog, adult my money, organize my home, ask for money, put on makeup, and buy a home. Other upcoming I Can'ts include I Can't: Clean, I Can't: Wine, and I Can't: Camp.
When Kristin was first learning how to bake, the idea of baking bread at home was overwhelming. Now, 10 years later, she has gone to culinary school, worked as a private chef, and built a baking resource website geared toward simplifying baking for others. Kristin loves to create approachable baking tutorials that break down the “whys” so that new bakers don’t feel as overwhelmed as she once did.
In this workshop, Kristin will demystify all of the common questions and problems surrounding yeast and the basic process of baking bread. Kristin will also demo several master recipes that can be easily made by hand without any specialty equipment. You will see how these master recipes can be used for a variety of breads. You will leave with approachable recipes, detailed explanations, and yeast in hand (and the confidence!) to give it a go at home!
