Rae Reichlin

Growing up a dancer Rae moved, learned, and worked hard with everyday. She loved using her mind and body in tandem and pushing them to their limits. When Rae decided she did not want to pursue dance professionally, she had to find something to replace that feeling of working hard and getting tangible results. This is where she found fitness. Going to the gym quickly became her favorite activity, and she found herself jealous of all the trainers who got to stay there and help others accomplish their goals and learn about their bodies all day. So she decided to become one of those trainers herself, earning a personal trainer certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Rae learned and took on all the she could, teaching pilates, bootcamp, and barre classes, all while building her clientele for personal training. She quickly learned that fitness and exercise was not a one size fits all model, and pursued a functional movement screen certification to aid her in individualizing her clients and breaking down what they need for their specific bodies. Rae has worked with clients of all levels and fitness backgrounds, and loves to see each and every one come to meet their goals in their own way.

    Absolutely loved Rae's class! The class was informative, supportive and dynamic. The group atmosphere was great and all the groundwork was set by the instructor. I will most definitely be taking another class with Rae!!

    Another amazing class. Even though I felt like I wasn't on my A game, Rae and even the other girls in class were super encouraging when I was on the struggle bus :) I'm beyond grateful.

    I went to Level 2 only a week after my first time in Level 1. I worked harder, made another new friend, and felt like $25 for a workout class this good is a great deal. Also, Rae is somehow magically right behind me whenever I'm confused or doing something wrong, so the number of people in the class is never an issue.

    This was my second time participating in Level 1 of LWL and somehow it got even better than my first go of it! Rae really knows her stuff and takes the time to get to know each lady lifter. I took my boyfriend's mom as part of her Christmas present and she fell in love with the experience instantly. There's nothing like focusing on getting strong and supporting other ladies in such a positive environment. Definitely give this a try if you want to diversify your training program!

    Rae creates a positive and supportive atmosphere and is always available during class to give feedback and answer questions. I always feel challenged, learn something new, have fun and leave class feeling strong physically, mentally, and emotionally- all thanks to Rae and the other ladies in this awesome community!

    I can’t rave enough about this class and the community of strong, loving women Rae helps create. As a woman with a lot of confidence issues, coming to a class filled with such amazing and supportive women to learn proper ways to lift and become more powerful has been amazing.     Rae somehow manages to give personal attention to every person in one of her sessions and her advice/pointers are so helpful. She knows exactly what she's doing and she really has cultivated a safe, inclusive space for women who share the goal of getting stronger.

    Class was excellent. I had very little experience lifting and feel like this one class definitely gave me what I need to know to continue working out on my own. All the women were at different levels, but everyone was helpful and encouraging. The instructor had enough time to correct form or answer a question during the class whenever I needed help.     The class was fantastic, and I look forward to going on to Level 2 classes! I've always been intimidated by weights and the different machines at gyms - I feel like I learned so much in just two hours and gained confidence.

    This was my first Ladies Who Lift class. I really enjoyed. I work out on a regular basis and I am familiar with weightlifting techniques. I still learned a lot from this class. I could tell that the instructor really cares about her clients/class. She wants us all to do well. I highly recommend this class to any woman who feels intimated about strength training or any woman that has experience. Everyone will gain something from the class. I am looking forward to Level 2!

    Another great LWL Class this past Sunday. Rae always does a great job of laying out the class to where we are building upon previous classes, but giving us the ability to add new exercises that will compliment the muscles that we are working. She is always very hands on and willing to help you perfect your skills. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

    I had a great time and the women at this class were all very supportive of each other. I admire Rae as both a coach and businesswoman and appreciate her energy and fun, kind spirit. Great environment to practice and learn good form and exercises. Rae's speech at the beginning about LWL and why women should weightlift was fantastic. Loved the goodies we were sent home with as well.

    This was an awesome class! I have done weightlifting before but it was so nice to have a review of proper form. It was also great to work out with all women in a supportive and engaging atmosphere. I would absolutely recommend and am going to sign up for another one!

    I've been lifting for a while and signed on for this as part of my birthday weekend. I'm glad I finally signed on for a class because I can't say enough nice things about my experience with Ladies who Lift! Rae is attentive, funny, and so down-to-earth.     Rae is an amazing teacher and coach. All of the movements were explained clearly, and modifications were always offered. She also made sure to check up on everyone as we were working out, and encouraged everyone along the way! This class is a blast. Strong, bad-ass babes cheering one another on, and her playlists are on point!

    What a great Level 2 Ladies Who Lift Class! We were able to learn how to use several new machines today, and I was able to use the skills I've acquired in the past classes to add weight and perfect my form for the major lifts we've been doing (squats, dead lifts, bench press). I am looking forward to the next class in 2018!

    Ladies Who Lift Level I was an INCREDIBLE class! I feel much more confident doing lifts knowing the proper form and technique. The class was full of badass women supporting each other and rooting each other on! It was incredibly empowering and I cannot wait for Level II!

    I signed up and showed up solo, not knowing exactly what to expect.
    The class included a variety of exercises with the focus on strength - without neglecting cardio and abs, a badass community of strong women, and an inclusive, supportive, knowledgeable instructor. The perfect class. DO IT. You won’t regret it!

    Ladies who lift is an awesome group of strong supportive women. I love attending the level 2 class to supplement my own lifting sessions. Rae is a great instructor and readily available to help with questions or to correct form.

    The Ladies Who Lift class is the perfect way to learn to lift if you have never done so before.     Rae provides clear instructions and the individual attention needed to learn how to perform an exercise with proper form. Even if you have experience lifting, the class is a great way to switch up your normal workout. The interaction and encouragement from fellow participants and instructors create a positive environment that leaves you feeling accomplished and ready to tackle your next workout.

    September's Level 2 Ladies Who Lift class was awesome! Rae is always very hands on and gives great feedback about your workout technique. I deadlifted a PR again at this class and have Rae's guidance to thank for helping me to do so! I'll be back again!

    This was my first Ladies Who Lift Level 2 class and it honestly exceeded all my expectations, it was an amazing experience. I know plenty of people have said this, but it cannot be said enough, Rae is an incredible teacher. She has great energy, she's extremely helpful and encouraging and most importantly, no matter what your skill level is, she makes you feel like a badass. She also has an amazing photographer who comes in and takes awesome pictures, she stays in the background for the most part, but occasionally she cheered us on and asked how we were doing, which was very thoughtful. I also had the opportunity to work out with two other amazing ladies, they were very encouraging and pushed me to lift my heaviest, which I really appreciated. I'm a big fan of this class and of the community Rae has worked very hard to build. Can't wait for the next class!

    Ladies Who Lift Level 2 was great! It was a really good workout and a good step up from the level 1. Level 2 provided an environment for us to use what you have learned in level 1 and lift heavier. It is a safe and supportive environment of strong women! Rae has developed a great community with Ladies Who Lift!

    Level 2 was just as great as level 1. A challenging workout for sure. I am definitely on the beginner end of fitness and Rae was such a great help giving me modifications for moves I'm not quite strong enough to do yet. Not to mention the fact you're surrounded by inspiring ladies who all want to kick ass.

Firstly, Rae is a machine with a real passion for bring women together and helping them feel empowered to embrace their physical (and emotional) strengths. Secondly, the other attendees were bada$$ bias. Everyone was supportive and free of judgement, which is not something so easily found among the SoulCycles of the world. I dug how in Level 2 Rae walked us through a variety of old school-looking gym contraptions—one's that I've usually come across but been too afraid to use out of fear of looking like it's amateur hour. All around stellar experience that went beyond just getting in and getting out for a workout. Plus, there's a photographer who walks around throughout snapping sick shots of you in Beast Mode. Legit. Hit.it.up. Byeeeee.

    Rae is a wonderful instructor and class was a great workout. I hadn't attended Level 1, but the entire group was so friendly and welcoming. I appreciated having feedback on my form and can't wait for the next Level 2!

    Ladies Who Lift Level 1 was so great, so I decided to try Level 2. Even better! Rae does a tremendous job at instructing, coaching and motivating. It's so great to be around like-minded women who are looking for a challenging workout.

    The level 2 class was a great addition to the level 1 Ladies Who Lift. We got straight to business with the 7 different stations and received great feedback on form, etc. Always a great setting, and good to meet new people. Will definitely be back at another Ladies Who Lift Class!

    Finally a group of great ladies who just want to get down to it and lift! Rae keeps it real, with no frills and challenging sets. She has done more than set up some workouts, she's started a little community of like minded ladies who are ready to be there best!     I started taking classes at Crosstown Fitness and really enjoyed Raes classes and am always looking for something new and different ways to push myself. Great class great information she helped me with my form and pushes you to be at your best.

    A friend of mine had recommended this class to me after I had expressed that I'm interested in strength training, but had no formal instruction. Rae took the time with each person in class and gave great feedback and information. If you're intimidated by weight lifting in general and don't know where to start, I'd highly recommend taking LWL.

    This was a great class! Rae was very knowledgeable, and I left leaving the class with a deeper understanding of proper lifting technique.     Rae did a great job breaking down every movement, and making sure that we were all doing it correctly. She really made everyone feel very welcome, regardless of whether or not we were beginners or experts. Amazing class, and I would highly recommend it!

    I haven't done serious weight training before and this was a great, non-intimidating format to try it out. Turns out it's super fun and a great workout. My glutes were definitely feeling the burn the next day. Can't wait to do it again!

    My friends and I went for Rae's level 1 class. We loved it. The class is very informative and even if you are a lifter, it helps you re-learn and get better. The workout is a lot of fun and Rae is a phenomenal instructor. Rae has a vision to get together women who might be intimidated by lifting weights to learn and defy myths. She implements this vision beautifully with her ladies who lift concept. The class atmosphere is very very encouraging and inspiring. My friends and I will def be back for more with Rae.

    This course and the teacher, Rae, were great! I finally learned how to really understand and perform accurate form when lifting heavy weights. I'm not new to working out, but I'm someone who likes to take fitness classes. This Level one course was exactly what I needed to ensure my safety in other fitness classes where I might not get the one-on-one attention from an instructor. Besides the superior quality content in the level one workshop/fitness class, there was a great sense of positivity and community being surrounded by other woman with likeminded goals. I'm excited for Rea to (hopefully) add more workshops, more levels, and offer them more frequently because I would love to continue to be apart of this community!!! #girlpower

    The class was awesome. I was looking forward to doing the workout one day using the tires =). Everyone was friendly and helpful throughout the workout. The instructor Rae was awesome making sure our form was good and giving great tips on strength training. I definitely recommend checking out the class!

    Rae is a good salesperson for her product: strength training for females. She is energetic, informed, and compassionate about what she does.     Rae is a top notch trainer, she is passionate and extremely educated. She genuinely cares about everyone in her class and pays close attention to each person. She is so motivating and by far the best trainer I've come across. I highly recommend going to any class she is the head of!

The first class goes over best practices for form, the WHY behind lifting weights, and a great workout. LWL Level 2 went straight into another great workout. In both, Rae sets you up for long term success by focusing on good form and is available for any questions you have. Positive environment, great music, and...SNACKS! What else could you ask for?

    Rae is an inspiration. Her passion for what she does is amazing. I love the community of women she has brought together to enrich all of our lives and strengthen each of us in our own way... That calls for a lot, with a group of 20 women in a 2 hour period, and I feel it was a success through and through. Thanks Rae!

    This was a great refresher course for me, as I haven't really been lifting in a couple of years. Both instructor and fellow participants were supportive, encouraging, and provided insightful feedback on my form. The equipment/space at Rockwell Barbell was top-notch. Overall, it was a great experience.

I've been lifting for over two years now, and I learned some new stuff - so this class isn't' just for beginners. You'll chat and learn for the first hour, and then in the second hour, you'll put all of your new knowledge to work in a killer workout (bring water, you'll need it!). At the end, they gave us some AWESOME swag bags. They also had a nutritionist is class (Katie Rust) who will give you a free consultation so that you can achieve your nutrition/weight loss/ recovery goals. You girls rock - and I'll definitely be back for another class.

    This class is such an amazing experience! Rae is instructional, kind, and fun - she really takes any intimidation out of lifting weights! So nice to meet so many wonderful ladies and encourage each other! Thanks for creating such a unique and inspiring environment, Rae!

    "Ladies who lift" is a safe community of empowered women, ready to push each other in a supportive up-beat manner. I would definitely recommend joining this class for women at any stage of their fitness journey, both novice and advanced level. Rae really checks on your form and helps you push yourself safely. She surprised me at how much weight I can actually handle! Thanks rae, I will be returning!

    This was a great class for all levels! I have some experience with lifting, but definitely left learning new things and feeling great. Rae is very welcoming, funny, and wiling to answer any questions you have.

    Rae is an amazing 1-1 trainer and she was great in this class! She was able to keep the energy up and give individual feedback at the same time!
