In this workshop, you will learn about indigo & natural dying. We will experiment with stitch resist dying methods, as well as pole wrap dying. We will use natural indigo dyes as well as other natural dyes. You will create a scarf and several samples to take home. You may bring other fabrics, tee shirts, etc. to dye as well.
This class will meet on February 15th, 22nd March 1st, 8th, 22nd and 29th from 6pm - 8pm

Living Arts is located in Maplewood, MO. It is a bustling studio filled with workshops, classes and provides open studio time. We've created an inclusive studio space that embraces creativity on all levels. Through Living Arts, individuals have access to one-on-one instruction, support from local artists and writers. In addition to offering a wide variety of classes and workshops, Living Arts also provides scholarships and assistance for those with disabilities so that art is accessible to everyone.
Living Arts is the product of a collaboration with VSA (Vision, Strength, Access) Missouri, Bridges Community Support Services and Spirited Hands Art. We are a strong community that offers classes for people living with and without disabilities in a creative, safe space. We offer classes and camps that foster individuality, self-regulation and creative expression.
