Sewing from Patterns: Fanny Pack

Learn how to sew a custom fanny pack or “bum bag” using salvaged fabric. Work from a pattern to cut out the parts of your pack. Practice your machine stitching skills to assemble the pack, and learn how to add a zipper with basic finishing techniques. Participants are welcome to bring their own fabrics to use for this project, or they may pick from a variety of vintage fabrics at the shop. Basic sewing machine skills are required.
