Event Overview

Whether you’re a keen skateboarder and/or an avid woodworker (or neither!), join us in this two day course that allows students to hand-make their very own, custom skateboard or longboard deck entirely from scratch. Students will be expertly guided through laminating and shaping layers of Canadian Maple Veneer (The best veneer in the world for building skateboards). Top and Bottom Veneer layer options may vary depending on availability. On completion of the course, students will take home their very own, and very much skate-able deck, that will last years. Class numbers are limited to ten students, to ensure that each individual is given adequate time.

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST

As a kid I loved skateboarding, still do actually. As an adult I love woodworking. So I thought why not do both and provide something new, fun and exciting for my Denver Neighbors.

Thus Skateboard workshop.

I have studied at Red Rocks community college for two years in the fine woodworking and guitar building classes. I have always been handy and love to fix things, make furniture for the home and so on. I am a Navy veteran, I love to swim and I love to teach.

Enough of that... Let's build some skateboards!
