Imagine these wheels rolling straight out of your limitless imagination! This is a perfect project for scraps. Or curate a bunch of colors for a rainbow of contrasts to create something exciting, or curate more analogous colors for a harmonious effect. I think I would love to do one that is soft grays and linen whites. With the knowledge and pattern, you can create one wheel to make a pillow cover, two to four for a wall hanging, baby quilt, or table runner, or 20 and more for a quilt. Once you learn to make one of these versatile blocks, the possibilities are endless.
In this workshop, you'll leave with a template and the practice to make one here in class, then be free to make more of your own. You will not leave with a complete bound and quilted project, unless you sew, cut, and quilt faster than the speed of light, but anything is possible right?
Materials Required:
1/2 yard of fabric for the frame or 4 fat quarters for a scrappier look
A variety of fabrics for the inner part of the wheel (recommended four fat quarters)

I have a mission! I want to bring people together to create, and grow a collective of curious creatives and artists in arms who wish to share their passion for making and hand crafting beautiful things for the pure joy of it.
Last December, a dream came true for me. I now have a space to call home for all of my passions. It's a boutique fabric nook and makerspace in RiNo, where I host all my classes and sell amazing modern fabric. Come see us at 3327 Brighton Blvd. Denver, CO 80216 in the Converge Building. Our website is www.artandcraftco.com.
As far as my creativity philosophy goes, I believe all art comes from the soul, the architect, and the hands and eyes are the builders for those inspired ideas. When we make I get lost in the process and drop all judgements and lock away the inner critic, allowing myself to simply play. Altogether, I am a fabric, quilt, music, bead and jewelry enthusiast, but I want to gather makers of all arts to inspire, support each other, and share. I'd love to build a creative community, and bring together others who have a passion for making things. I also sing, play a few instruments, and write inspiring songs with my darling songstress sisters in our band Starling. I hope to join forces in creative bliss.
