Event Overview

Come learn the skills to start a new lifelong hobby! Lots of great things are in store for those who knit. You'll never be bored on your RTD commute again. You'll always have the perfect last-minute gift ideas. You'll have a go-to stress-relieving activity when you're anxious or just need some help relaxing. And you'll stay warm all winter long. (Winter is coming!)

After learning this pretty pattern, you'll be ready to make your own durable dishtowels and washcloths. During class, you'll receive a handout with instructions on the linen stitch, a pair of knitting needles, and a skein of machine washable cotton yarn, and you'll leave with the beginnings of a washcloth and the know-how to create all your own linens.

No previous knitting experience is required, but students who are familiar with knitting and purling will still enjoy familiarizing themselves with a new pattern.
