Event Overview

Do you struggle to get dinner on the table during the week after a long day of work? Are you relying on take-out a little too frequently? This is the workshop for you!


Taking the time to do some simple food prep can be a great way to save time on cooking during the week and the good news is, it doesn't have to consume your entire weekend. But where do you even start? And does food prepping mean that you have to eat the same thing every day? 


In this interactive workshop, registered dietitian Leanne Ray will serve up her best tips and strategies for setting yourself up for cooking success. 


Attendees will learn basic knife skills to make chopping and dicing easier, then each person will get to practice and take home their prepped food, along with a corresponding meal plan for the week. It's a great way to get prepared for the week ahead while also learning some valuable new skills and socializing with the group (invite your friends!).

What to Bring

The instructor will provide gallon-size zip top bags for attendees to take home their food, but if you want to go green please bring 4 food storage containers (2 cup size). And BYOB if you want to sip while you learn & cook!

What's Provided

Each attendee will receive a meal plan utilizing the food that was prepped during class, a shopping list for the reminder of the items needed, a meal planning printable template for future weeks!
