Event Overview

Ooey, gooey, sweet rounds of doughy love, doughnuts are a hand-held bite of self-indulgence. Why not learn to make your own?

In this virtual hands-on class, you’ll learn about the history and different kinds of doughnuts, including beignets, doughnut holes, jelly doughnuts, and more. And we’ll discuss how to make, form, bake, fry, frost and fill your doughnuts.

Then you will use your new doughnut knowledge to create your own delicious box of tasty wonders.

You’ll leave class happy, well-doughnutted, and equipped with the recipes and skills to make and customize your own inspired doughnut flavor combinations.

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST

The Good Food Project is built to make cooking fast, fun and accessible for everyone. Everybody should know how to cook things they enjoy eating and the more things you can cook, the better.

When you come to our classes, come with an open mind. You’ll try some new things, have a fantastic experience and leave feeling like you have gained the knowledge and confidence that will make your next culinary creation extraordinary.

People tell us that the best takeaways from our classes are not the big lessons, they are the tips and ideas that will make your cooking life easier and improving on what you are already doing. Things like substituting ingredients, using spices and slicing an onion without crying.

Join us for a class. We’ll cook up some great flavors and taste some awesome things together, plus we’d love to talk food with you! Hope to see you soon!

What a great class. This was a completely hands on experience, we each got to make our own batches of donuts start to finish. The space was great, very clean with plenty of room to cook. Chelly was an excellent instructor, she took time to answer questions and made sure everyone got any extra help they needed. I learned so much in this class and came home with yummy donuts too. I can’t wait to take more of her cooking classes.
