Event Overview
Are interested in low-maintenance painting? Then watercolor illustration is for you!
In this class, you will learn the basic practice of learning how to paint with watercolor medium, as well as create simple illustrations through applying pen and ink to your work. Jackie will walk you through the color wheel and how to create, blend and shape colors with brush strokes.
At the end of this class, you’ll have a frameable watercolor painting to hang or gift.
This class is held in a fun and easy going studio environment.

What to Bring
Watercolor Paint (5-12 Colors), water color brushes, 8x10 watercolor pad, Pigma Micron ink pen, pencil & eraser. All materials can be purchased at Michaels or Blick! * Remember to use coupons for discount!

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST
Jacqueline is a freelance artist with the Fulton Street Collective who is currently working and living in Chicago. She is a registered art therapist and a licensed clinical professional counselor. Jacqueline was professionally trained at the Gwen Frostic School of Art at Western Michigan University, where she received a BFA. She then went on to obtain her masters in Art Therapy and Counseling at the Adler University.
Jacqueline is currently creating original oil paintings, watercolors, and drawings from her studio in the Fulton Market neighborhood of Chicago. She excels at watercolor illustrations and has created a nature series that includes lunar images, animals, foliage, and landscapes.
