Urban Sketching: Brothers K Coffeehouse!
TOP RATED
Arts & DIY
We'll meet at a cafe with sketchbooks for a quick intro to Urban Sketching (it's a thing, really! I'll show you examples from all over the world, and some ideas for what media work well), followed by plenty of time to enjoy beverages, edibles, and drawing the interesting pageant around us.
We can draw the scenery, furniture, food, and people! This will be a wonderful workshop for people at ANY level of experience. You can choose what to draw, how much time to spend, and ask me to help or make suggestions (or not). Especially fun for people curious about life-sketching, but who may be a little shy about drawing in public- strength in numbers! Fun and interesting things will happen, in your sketchbook and in the fun cafe atmosphere. (*as a favor to the cafe, visualize yourself spending at least $5 on something to eat or drink, and perhaps leave a tip :-) They have great espresso drinks, pastries, quiche and spinach pies, and bags of coffee for sale. *)
We'll have fun sketching the fun. Yay!
