As CEO and head stylist of my own Personal Styling business, Shopping Girl XOXO, it is my job to stay up-to-date on the hottest trends each season and to be able to help my clients incorporate the looks that are right for their specific life style, body shape, and interests!
In this two hour course I will highlight the biggest trends of the season and teach women how to take fashion-forward looks from the runway and incorporate them into their every day life! I will also teach styling tricks of the trade to help you look polished and put-together all year round!
Along with styling tips I will have an assortment of local designers' clothing and accessories to see first hand what is on trend and what looks good on YOU! It will be a private shopping event of local designers with your own personal stylist there to help put the looks together and opportunities to purchase any items you would like so you can leave the class with not only the knowledge to take home to your closet when getting dressed in the morning, but the opportunity to also leave with a modern and fresh new look styled by your own personal stylist!
I believe that confidence is the best accessory, so I focus on helping my clients to look and most importantly FEEL amazing in their new and improved style!

Hi! My name is Lora LaPratt, of Shopping Girl XOXO, I am a personal stylist for clients nation-wide. I pride my business on really getting to know my clients on a personal level and helping to bring out each individual’s style based on their interests, body shape, coloring, and overall way of life! I also love to work with local designers and boutiques to keep my clients looking unique and individual rather than matching everyone else walking down Michigan Ave! I am a lover of the color purple, a complete bohemian at heart, believe comfort and happiness are the best outfit makers, and can’t get enough of a great skinny jean and slouchy flowey top on myself! Yet, I love to transport into my clients styles and help them to look and most importantly FEEL amazing in whatever style they are drawn to!
Based in Chicago with a degree in Fashion Merchandising, a BA in Organizational Communications, and stylist positions in Downtown Chicago, I have both the education and experience necessary to find what best fits you. I have close connections with department stores and "hidden gems” of boutiques throughout the Chicago area. I have been featured in My Daily Find Chicago, CRAVE, Chiguide, Stef In The City, Monday Morning Jolt, Cheeky Chicago, WCIU You and Me In The Morning, WGN's Turi Ryder Show, Chicago Lakeview Merchants Association, Chicago Woman, and host styling events in and around the Chicago area. I enjoy getting to know my clients' personal style and bringing out the best in people. I will make you feel great in what you wear and great about the gifts you give others.
