Event Overview

Every group meeting and one-on-one interaction is an opportunity to advance your ideas. Will your ideas take root and flourish, or will they flounder?

A 2013 study by the National Association of College and Employers found that employers need people that can communicate effectively, especially when giving oral presentations in front of large groups of people. Yet, most Americans attest to a fear of speaking in public. Effective oral communication is essential to achieving your goals whether you are in business, education, law, politics, or simply active in your community.

From designing and delivering a persuasive impromptu speech in front of a group of strangers to learning how to apply special breathing and vocalization techniques to captivate an audience, this course will teach you what you need to know to capitalize on every public speaking opportunity.
