Event Overview
Project Management is used by everyone from Admin Assistants, to NASA Engineers and it's easy to learn the elementary rules of the game. In these two hours you will see how to make your boss swoon with excitement over your project delivery. The small class structure of 10-18 people insures lively discussion of the methods and madness of our simple PM methodology. You will learn not only the four stages, but also some of the key "soft-skills" you'll need to exhibit your mastery of the three R's (rework, risk and reward). You will receive a 15 page handout, and templates in addition to simple techniques, to get you started on the path to project management nirvana. You will learn when and when not to apply project management, how to guide the people involved, and how to set yourself up for success.

Gordon’s got the chops and the credentials to share some wisdom with you on business basics. He’s bridged the gap between IT and the business for 20+ years, in industries as wide ranging as food manufacturing, non-profit, construction manufacturing and local government. He’s even got experience at starting a Project Management Office from scratch. He’s been certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute since 2013. Before that he held their Certified Associate Project Manager certification.
