Feel The Fear and Do It Anyways

Event Overview

"I had this paradigm in my head: If I just stand here long enough, the fear will go away and I’ll jump and I’ll be fearless. That didn’t happen. I discovered instead how not to be stopped by my fear. Maybe I couldn’t banish all my fears, but I made the choice to stop allowing them to rule my life." - Ana Forrest

What is it that you want to do with your career or life but you feel stuck?
Are you holding back at all from reaching your potential because of fear?

Did you know that sharing your worries and fears to others actually dismantles them?  Let's tackle our fears together and get your closer to your goals!

So, what the heck is this event?

It’s a casual social gathering centered around you! Fear is the #1 reason people do not go after a career, project, or life they truly want. We will gather with some amazing people sharing our stories, listening to one another, and learning tools to take action towards our goals. The best way to get over your fear is to get close to it, share it, and act on it.  I am also offering optional mini headshot sessions for anyone who would like an updated authentic & professional photo (yes, I am a photographer too!). It may be a good time to sparkle yourself up and bring out your best self :)

 Who's this for?

Any individual who’s sick of letting fear run their life.  You have big hopes and dreams and are ready to live up to your potential.

Are you craving some human connection? Then this is for you!

What does it include?

Some vino, light snacks, connection, tips for managing fear, and of course facilitation by me! You can add-on a headshot for $60 (just let me know beforehand).

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST

I am a personal development and a transformational career coach. I help ambitious men and women rewire their mindset, discover their purpose, and find fulfillment in their lives.

For most of my life, I struggled with figuring out what I wanted to do vs. what I thought I SHOULD do. I was living by someone else's rules and what society "deemed" successful. Although I always felt a bit unconventional, my career began in the corporate world and has included sales, marketing, and business consulting. I always had one foot in corporate [to appease my fears and financial goals] and one foot in some creative/educational endeavor [to appease my passion and purpose], but after years of missing something and feeling off, I decided to take the leap into self-employment and living life on MY own terms.

When I turned my passion into profit and launched my personal branding photography business and freed myself from the 9-5 world, I met so many other people feeling unhappy and unfulfilled in their career but remaining stuck in their comfort zone. I felt immediately drawn to inspiring others to take RISKS, explore living COURAGEOUSLY, and to live life for THEMSELVES! I find playing to your strengths and taking risks will make you happier in the long run. This is when all of the dots began to connect for me; my experiences and skills set me up to be exactly where I was supposed to be.

More about me: I have a Master’s degree in Sociology & Qualitative Research from the University of Chicago, I completed the Forrest Yoga Teacher Training, and I remain a lifelong teacher and student. I've worked to improve the lives of people for the past 10 years, including leading emotional intelligence workshops and mentoring youth in underserved communities. I'd like to say I have a knack and innate skill for connecting with people, seeing what you cannot see in yourself, and empathizing with the human experience. I love to travel, also work as a freelance photographer, and am super passionate about social justice.
