Event Overview
Family Lessons: This is a great way for your whole family to develop their artistic abilities. The lessons are both skill-based and exploratory. I help each member in your family to discover what they are great at and how to find and perfect their personal artistic strengths and language. Within no time everyone will be creating awesome works on paper and canvas to frame. Your home will become a cultural hub that will wow your friends, family and neighbors. It’s a meaningful and unique way for the family to spend time together. All members will take part in group lessons and also will be guided individually as well. Which means individual projects will created for each and every one of you, no matter what age and no matter what experience you have. As Plato said, “You can discover more about a person in an our of play than in a year of conversation." One of the best parts is that I come to you! So there is no need for the stress of gathering everyone together and hopping in the car! I have multiple time slots for this offering. Saturday mornings, Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays and weekday mornings. Please inquire for availability. The Family Lesson is offered here, through Dabble, as a one time only class.
What to Bring
Paper, pencils, erasers for the first class. If you decide to take more classes then, at that time, the supply list will be provided.

Have you always wanted to learn how to draw and paint or make sculpture? Not sure if you can do it? I have never failed at teaching someone how to. I've been teaching art for 25 years. I've taught college level at the top art school in the country and have taught people of all ages and backgrounds. I taught for 16 years at a prestigious college prep in Chicago. I've been teaching privately for four years. I have a bachelors and masters degree in studio art from School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I'm a practicing artist who has invented some fantastic methods for learning how to paint and draw. As we all know...experience is what counts in the arts. I will be able to teach you how to paint like an old master, or to create beautiful abstract paintings, landscapes or still life paintings. If you aren't sure what you want to learn...I can help you figure that out in ten minutes! I can teach you how to find your artistic voice. This is my gift and I want to share it with you.
