Event Overview

Recent snow and the coming cold snap have you looking for a beach escape already? Join, Krystal Behnke of Natural Chicago Moms for this hands-on workshop at Hotel Lincoln in Lincoln Park next month.

Sun protection is one of the most important steps in protecting yourself and your family; yet sunscreen is one of the most chemical ridden products in your beauty regiment!

Yes, 2.8 million people are diagnosed annually with skin cancer, but slathering yourself and children with toxic chemicals and hormone disruptors? There has to be a better way!

There is, and you can do it easily and inexpensively. In this class we will discuss what is in traditional sunscreens and what they can do to your body.

I will then educate on what products naturally contain SPF; all of which you can eat! We will, as a group, work together to make our own homemade sunscreen, with each person taking home a container and a packet with all of the information discussed in class, recipes, and links on where to order each product to make your own at home.

This is about empowerment! Your health is in your hands.
